Refund Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This Refund Policy explains how Inland Indoors handles refunds for online payments made through the payment gateway on www.inlandindoors.com. It should be read together with our Cancellation Policy, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Applicability
This policy applies to online design advance, stage and consultation payments made through www.inlandindoors.com for interior design and execution services, and to any other online payment collected through the website's payment gateway.
2. When a refund is applicable
A refund may be processed where:
- A project is cancelled in line with our Cancellation Policy, and an amount remains refundable after permitted deductions;
- A duplicate payment or an excess amount has been charged in error;
- An amount has been debited from your account but the payment was not confirmed by us due to a technical or payment gateway failure; or
- We are unable to start or deliver a confirmed project for reasons attributable to us.
3. When a refund does not apply
Refunds are not available for:
- Payments for design work already carried out, such as site measurement, concepts, layouts, drawings and 3D visuals;
- Materials already ordered, custom items already in production, and work already executed at site;
- Stage payments for completed stages of work;
- Consultation fees, where the quotation states they are non-refundable; and
- Any amount specifically stated as non-refundable in your quotation or agreement.
4. Refund process and timelines
Eligible refunds are initiated within 7 business days of the refund being approved by us, and are credited to the original payment method used for the transaction. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a further 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account. You will receive written confirmation by email once a refund is approved, stating the amount and mode of refund.
5. Quality or workmanship issues
If an issue relates to workmanship or a defect in the work delivered, the primary remedy is inspection and rectification (or replacement of the affected item) as set out in your agreement and warranty terms. A monetary refund will only be considered where rectification is genuinely not possible.
6. Payment gateway and bank charges
Any transaction or convenience charges levied by the payment gateway or your bank at the time of payment are not refundable, even where the underlying payment is refunded.
7. How to request a refund
Write to interiors@inlandindoors.com or use our Contact page, quoting your project or quotation number, payment transaction ID or UTR, and the reason for the refund request.
8. Governing terms
This Refund Policy operates alongside our Cancellation Policy and Terms and Conditions, and is subject to applicable Indian law and the guidelines of the payment gateway used to process your transaction.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
